Inspiring early 19th century oil on board painting of a Norfolk Sand Pit.

Signed by the artist as Revd J. H. Browne (1767-1843), this was hung originally by the board, but was shortly after placed in a lovely period gold gilt frame.  

The painting without the frame measures 25 x 33 cm

 

Condition report: Painting in fine antique condition.  Frame with several knocks and some missing gesso corners.
